Chocolates & Dreams

I was introduced to the world of baking in the summer of 1999. I had just completed my 12 standard examinations and had three long months of vacations ahead. My mother decieded to put me into a cookery class so that I would at least step into the kitchen for a change. Being the youngest at home I never felt the need with mom and my sister around. I thank her till today for taking that decision. The very first class opened my eyes opened to a completely new horizon and I have never looked back.

Cooking has been a passion for almost 12 years , but I got my wings after marriage. New to the city of Delhi and not yet ready to start work I was a home maker for almost 8 months after my marriage and that is when I discovered the blogosphere. I passionately followed my favorite blogs and churned out delicacies in the kitchen. But it was only in 2009 I finally decided to be a part of it. From being a dedicated follower I became a blogger.

The one blog that was a great inspiration was Tara Austen Weaver's Tea & Cookies. Her incites on food and life are a great source of energy and inspiration. 

Today I cook and blog and some day do hope to start my own cafeteria. A nice small place where food and dreams are cherished and relished.
